Privacy Policy

This policy covers mockitup.org and the MockItUp Mac app. It does not cover Apple, Stripe, or the social apps whose icons appear as presets. Questions: info@valethero.org.

What we collect

If you only browse the site

We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-5S9XFVSG48) to see pages, devices, and approximate location. Analytics sets cookies. You can block them in your browser. We do not use that data to identify you by name.

If you download the app

The Mac app runs on your computer. Projects, wallpapers, and notification copy stay on your machine unless you export a file and share it yourself. We do not receive the contents of your lock-screen projects.

If you buy Pro

Checkout goes through Stripe. Stripe collects the payment details it needs to charge you. We receive a customer record (usually an email and a subscription status) so the app can tell whether you can hide the watermark and use custom assets. We never see your full card number.

If you email us

We keep the address and message you send to info@valethero.org so we can reply. We do not add you to a marketing list from a support email unless you ask.

What we do not collect

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not buy advertising audiences with your data.
• We do not read the videos you export.
• We do not ask for an iPhone or Apple ID to use the app.

Why we use it

• To run the site and understand which guides people read.
• To process Pro payments and keep a license in sync.
• To answer support mail.
• To keep the product and payments secure.

Processors

We use a short list of vendors to operate MockItUp:

• Google Analytics, for site usage.
• Stripe, for checkout and subscriptions.
• Firebase / Google Cloud, for hosting, functions, and license records tied to a purchase.

Each vendor has its own privacy terms. We only send them what they need to do that job.

Retention

Analytics is kept for the period Google Analytics is configured to store. Payment and license records stay as long as tax and accounting rules require, and while a subscription is active. Support email is kept as long as the thread is useful, then deleted in ordinary cleanup.

Your choices

You can refuse analytics cookies in your browser. You can cancel Pro through the Stripe customer portal or by emailing us. You can ask us for a copy, correction, or deletion of the personal information we hold by writing to info@valethero.org. If you are in a place with extra privacy rights (including the EU, UK, or California), we will honor a valid request.

Children

MockItUp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think we have, email us and we will delete it.

Security

Payments go through Stripe over HTTPS. The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Do not put secrets into a notification field and assume they stay private once you export the video.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Continued use of the site or app after a change means you accept the new policy.
